Can you think of a better NYC moment than rooftop ice skating with a view of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline, then warming up with comfort food and drinks — while still gazing at the view? Make it a date, friend hangout or family outing (kids 5 and under skate free)!
From the Event Organizer
Ice skating in New York City is one of those classic experiences that never gets old, and there’s always room to elevate your rink game with a spin on the ice atop The Rooftop at Pier 17. After a fun-filled debut last season, Winterland Rink is back and larger in size, serving up more spectacular views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline. Open seven days a week, Winterland Rink’s schedule is packed full with fun weekly programming including special food offerings on Mondays, Happy Hour specials each Wednesday from 5pm – 7pm, and themed playlist skates Thursday nights, plus private instructional skate classes, and much more! For the youth inspired to learn to skate, children five years old and younger skate free (skate rentals not included) when accompanied by a paying adult skater. For those who need a break from the cold, cozy up in The Rooftop’s warming huts that provide views of the rink, the glistening skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge, while enjoying chalet-style comfort food and warm drinks.
